True, the Range Rover Sport looks and feels very refined. And yes, it delivers more luxury than any other high-end sedan. But it’s still very muscular. How muscular? Well, that’s for you to decide.

There’s the popular and powerful HSE, which comes standard with a 300-horsepower, 4.4-litre V8 engine, but if that’s not quite powerful enough, there’s the new 390-horespower, 4.2-litre Supercharged V8. Both models include Permanent 4WD, Terrain Response, Electronic Air Suspension and Electronic Traction Control to keep you on the road, or on track if you are headed for off-road country.

Speaking of staying on track – if that is your thing – you can always rely on the Range Rover Sport’s premium touchscreen navigation system, which is available on both models, to steer you right. And if even if your destination is a let-down, at least your Range Rover Sport will keep you entertained with its included Harmon Kardon Logic 7 digital surround-sound system. In a nutshell, whoever said it’s the journey, not the destination, must have been driving a Ranger Rover Sport.
